English is always on. Switch on another language and your shop gets a language switch; then translate the pages line by line — the shop’s own buttons and messages are already translated.

The video has no sound: the captions on screen explain each step, and every step is written out below with a picture.

    Open Languages

    In Studio, choose the Languages tab.

    Switch a language on

    Press the switch next to the language, then Publish languages so the shop shows the language switch.

    Open the pages to translate

    Press Translate pages >. The list shows each page and how much of it is translated.

    Translate line by line

    Open a page: each English line has a box beside it. Type the translation; it saves itself. Not translated shows only what is left.

    If the English changes later, the line is marked so you can check the translation.

    Publish the translation

    Press Publish on the page. Shoppers who choose the language now see your words.

    Good to know: Products are translated on each product’s own page, under Languages.
