  1. 1

    Open Coupons

Open Coupons under Store. The page, Promotions Engine, lists your codes and how often each has been used.

    Step 1: Open Coupons
  2. 2

    Start a new code

Press New Promotion. Type the Coupon Code shoppers will enter, and a Description for yourself.

Step 2: Start a new code
  3. 3

    How much it takes off

Choose the Discount Type — Percentage (%) or Flat Amount (₹) — and the amount. For a percentage, Max Discount Cap stops a big basket getting too much off.

Step 3: How much it takes off
  4. 4

Who can use it, and when

Min. Cart Value sets the smallest basket it works on; Total Usage Limit and Per User Limit say how many times it can be used; Valid From and Valid To (Expiry) set the dates.

Careful: Every coupon applies to the whole basket — limiting it to some categories or products is not working yet, and nor is the Free Shipping type.

Step 4: Who can use it, and when
  5. 5

    Create it

Press Create Promotion. The code is in the list and works at checkout straight away.

    Step 5: Create it
  6. 6

Switch it off or delete it

Click a code’s status badge (ACTIVE) to switch it off, and again to switch it back on. The bin deletes it.
